Dear Dave,
This letter is to acknowledge that Four Seasons Produce is using, with great success, Alpha Chemicals Products for cleaning our plant as well as chlorine dioxide to increase food safety to the consumer. Four Seasons has been using this product both in gas and liquid form. The nice thing about the product is that no generator or equipment is needed to mix the two components. It is a safe way of using chlorine dioxide; Alpha Chemicals has the ability to adapt a program using this product for individual needs of a company. The process in place at Four Seasons has helped us achieve food safety at the next level.
Microbial testing has shown that five log reduction can be obtained. Because of reduction in the microorganisms, product shelf life should increase; odor control in our refrigerated trailer fleet will also be a positive use. Chlorine dioxide is an organic approved sanitizer and equipment-friendly, and there is no taste residue when sprayed on the finished product. We are excited with the results we have seen to date, and will continue to seek additional uses in the future.
